DELETE YOUR AUTHENTICATOR ACCOUNT AND DATA
This page explains how to delete your account for the app Authenticator: 2FA Codes (package com.billionx.authenticator), published by BILLIONX LABS LIMITED (BillionX), and what happens to your data when you do.
Signing in with Google is optional. Without an account, the app keeps your data only on your phone and nothing about it is stored on our server.
You do not need the app installed to use this page: Option 2 below works from any email client.
OPTION 1: IN THE APP
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- Tap Account, then Delete account, and confirm.
Your account and synced data are removed immediately from the live service, and from our backups within 30 days. It cannot be undone.
Important: deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, otherwise Google Play keeps charging you.
OPTION 2: BY EMAIL
If you no longer have the app installed, write to support@billionx.co with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address you signed in with. We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by reply.
WHAT IS DELETED
- Your account record (the email address, name and Google account ID from your sign-in).
- Your encrypted sync data. We cannot read it, and once deleted it cannot be restored. Backup copies of the database are removed within 30 days.
- Your device list (the random ID of each install and the phone model name used for sync).
- Your subscription status record on our server.
WHAT IS NOT DELETED
- Codes and passwords already on your phones, including phones that received them through sync. Deleting your account does not erase them. To remove them, delete them in the app or uninstall the app on each phone. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its data on that phone.
- Your Google Play purchase and subscription records. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription: cancel it in Google Play, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- Data that Google already received through Firebase (below).
- Records we must keep by law (for example tax or fraud prevention), only for the period the law requires.
